Putin's teacher called the Victory Anniversary parade exemplary

Victory Day is a joyful and sad holiday, which is extremely necessary for the people. Vera Gurevich, a schoolteacher of Russian President Vladimir Putin, told the Izvestia correspondent on May 9 after the parade on Red Square in Moscow.
"I've been attending it [the parade] for 10 years now. It was an excellent parade today, excellent, exemplary, I would say. That's probably how it should be. It's an anniversary year after all," she shared her impressions.
According to Gurevich, her father went through three wars — the Civil War, the Soviet-Finnish War and the Great Patriotic War.
"Thanks to veterans like my dad, he has been dead for many years, we live, we rejoice, we create. And thank God that we have fewer and fewer people who live not under the slogan of "creating", but "getting out." This is not allowed. This is unacceptable. We are an exemplary state. It's not easy," she said.
Gurevich admitted that she was proud of her student and expressed her gratitude to him. She also congratulated her fellow citizens on Victory Day.
"Honor and glory to Russia, to the entire Russian multinational people. Thanks, congratulations to everyone. Live and rejoice. Create, but don't do it," she said.
On May 9, a parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War took place on Red Square in Moscow. The parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was hosted by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.
This year, more than 25 foreign leaders, as well as military personnel from countries friendly to Russia and foreign delegations came to the parade in the capital. More than 11 thousand military personnel took part in the parade, including 1.5 thousand special operation soldiers.
