- A journalist from the United States emphasized the importance of being present at the Victory Day Parade.

Maximus Tophurius Crane, a journalist from the United States, told Izvestia on May 9 that attending the Victory Day Parade was the best way to pay tribute to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War (WWII).
"There is no better way to pay tribute to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War than to come to the celebration of the 80th anniversary," he said.
Crane also added that for him, the presence at the parade is of high importance because of its origin.
"My family is originally from Russia. I am the first member of my family to return home to Russia in more than 100 years," the American journalist noted.
In addition, Crane called everything they say about Victory Day in the West propaganda rubbish.
The parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War has ended on Red Square in Moscow. More than 11 thousand military personnel took part in the parade, including 1.5 thousand special operation soldiers. The event was attended by more than 25 foreign leaders, as well as military personnel from countries friendly to Russia and foreign delegations.
