Russian paratroopers congratulated WWII veterans on Victory Day

The military of the Ivanovo Airborne Formation of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) congratulated veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers living in the Lugansk People's Republic (LNR) on Victory Day.

It was clarified that the servicemen visited the veterans and expressed gratitude and warm wishes to them, as well as presented them with gifts, including collections of poems by soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces from Kostroma, who are participants in a special military operation in Ukraine.

Among the declassified archival materials are data on Hitler's Germany's preparations for war, unique campaign maps and evidence of Nazi atrocities.

On this day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the military personnel of the Vostok group of forces held a rally and congratulated civilians in the Donetsk People's Republic and the Zaporizhia region on Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. The military also visited the veterans, who were thanked for their feat. Several festive concerts were also held, which were attended by military creative teams.
