Victory Day parade on Red Square. Broadcast


A parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War is taking place on Red Square in Moscow on May 9. Izvestia is broadcasting the event live.
The parade started at 10:00 a.m. and is expected to last about two hours. Almost three dozen foreign leaders are watching him from the stands.
Parade crews from 13 countries, in particular, from Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Belarus, Egypt, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, will pass through the Red Square.
At the end of the parade, the leaders are scheduled to lay wreaths together at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden. After that, an official reception will begin in the Kremlin for foreign heads of state and distinguished guests on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Victory Day celebrations are rounded off by fireworks, which will begin on May 9 at 22:00 Moscow time.
