Parades in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) have already been held in the cities of the Far East. Izvestia publishes footage of the celebrations from Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Ussuriysk, Nakhodka and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

In Vladivostok, tens of thousands of people took to the streets of the city to watch the Parade and participate in the Immortal Regiment march. They are holding posters and photographs of relatives who fought in the Second World War.

Parades in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War were also held in Ussuriysk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The events were attended by WWII veterans, military personnel and residents of the cities. The solemn part in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk began with the laying of flowers at the Eternal Flame and continued with the march of soldiers on Victory Square.

In Khabarovsk, the Victory Day Parade was commanded by the acting Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Major General Dmitry Gorbatenko.

A parade was also held in Nakhodka, where a brass band performed, as well as a "Frontline Concert" with songs from the war years. A field kitchen center was set up for everyone.

A parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The columns of the parade crews marched through the main square of the city.
