House of Cards director James Foley has died at the age of 72.

The director of the sequels "House of Cards" and "Fifty Shades of Grey" James Foley died at the age of 71. This was reported on May 8 by the American magazine The Hollywood Reporter, citing a representative of the director.

It is clarified that Foley died at his home in Los Angeles after his long-term battle with brain cancer.

James Foley was born in 1953 in New York City. His career began with the film Fearless, which premiered in 1984. He has worked in the film industry for over 30 years and has worked with actors such as Mark Wahlberg and Al Pacino.

The director has also worked on projects such as "Up Close," "After Dark, My Sweet," and "Twin Peaks."
