The Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip reported more than 100 deaths per day due to Israeli strikes.

More than 100 people have died in the past 24 hours in the Gaza Strip due to strikes by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This was announced on May 8 by the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian enclave.

"Over the past 24 hours, 106 dead and 367 injured have been admitted to hospitals in the Gaza Strip," the ministry said in a Telegram channel.

In total, according to the ministry, after the outbreak of Israeli hostilities on October 7, 2023, more than 52.7 thousand people became victims of the military, over 119 thousand were injured.

On May 6, the Palestinian TV channel Al Aqsa reported that at least 20 people were killed due to the shelling of a school housing displaced persons in the Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip. Dozens more were injured.

The Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah announced at the same time that it intends to continue attacks on its territory in response to Israel's actions until it stops operations in the Gaza Strip.
