The Russian-Chinese film "Red Silk" has become the flagship of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. Work has begun on the second part of the painting. Vadim Byrkin, the general producer of the film, told Izvestia on May 8.

Byrkin noted that "Red Silk" is being released in Russia and the CIS, and the film has also been released on four Russian online platforms.

"You know, while working on the film, we realized that we have common values. It's about family, history, and traditions. According to Lao Tzu, the journey of a thousand li begins with the first step. We have already taken this first step, and now we have started working on the sequel to Red Silk. We are confident that the years of joint cooperation will lead to ten years of joint success," said the general producer.

The Russian-Chinese film beat the sports drama "Rodnina" at the box office and remains in the top three.

On this day, the National Media Group and the Media Corporation of China (CMG) signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed during the visit of the Chinese delegation to the Russian Federation for the celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. It is specified that through the joint efforts of the two sides, Russian-Chinese relations continue to develop.
