On May 8, Captain Daniyar Dzhartanov, Commander of the 24th Separate Guards Special Forces Brigade of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Hero of Russia, Knight of the Order of Courage of the Guards, shared with Izvestia the preparations for the Victory Day Parade in Moscow.

"So I'll say that I haven't marched so much in my entire service. 2-3 hours a day. My column is led by another man, I am carrying a battle flag," he said in an interview with Izvestia correspondent Valentin Trushnin.

The captain explained that the command group would march first, then the "box" of fighters participating in a special military operation (SVO). According to Dzhartanov, the commander and deputy will be in front of him. He specified that he would carry the battle banner, and the historical banners would go behind him.

Jartanov noted that there will be about 400 people in two "boxes". According to him, at first it was hard to march so much, but all the soldiers are trying, because participation in the Parade is a responsible thing. The captain stressed that at the moment the soldiers are doing well.

Dzhartanov will carry the banner of the Ground Forces at the head of a column of special operation heroes at the Victory Day Parade in Moscow. During his military service, he received an officer's rank, and his group fought in the Kremenny forestry, participated in the storming of Avdiivka through a pipe near the Tsarskaya Okhota restaurant and crossed the Seversky Donets River.
