A commemorative event was held in China on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War

On May 8, a commemorative event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) was held in the Chinese city of Dalian, during which participants and Consul General of the Russian Federation in Shenyang Natalia Prygkova laid flowers at the memorial to Soviet soldiers.

In addition, the Immortal Regiment march, tree planting on the Alley of Memory, and a solemn ceremony of laying the Memory Capsule with the participation of Russian and Chinese schoolchildren took place within the framework of the event. In addition, a field kitchen, an outdoor marathon and other celebrations were organized.
