Medvedev recommended that Europe not forget about the defeat of Nazi Germany

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, warned Europe against repeating the fate of Nazi Germany after a meeting with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, the leader of the Cuban Communists, on May 8.
During the meeting with Diaz-Canel, he noted that he was glad to welcome the world leader among the guests who arrived in Moscow to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Victory over Nazi Germany.
Medvedev wrote on the social network X that those European officials who promote the revival of neo-Nazism in the world should remember the crushing of Nazi Germany.
On May 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel, noted that Cuba had made a great contribution to the fight against Nazism. The Russian leader also thanked the guest for coming to Moscow, stressing that Cuban volunteers fought alongside Soviet soldiers, including near Leningrad.
On the same day, Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Vasily Nebenzia, during a plenary session of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, said that Nazism was reviving in Europe, and the number of its supporters was also increasing there. He noted that Russia would not let the international community forget that Hitler's followers did not remain in 1945.
