Captured military equipment was presented at an exhibition in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

The equipment captured in the special military operation zone was presented on Lenin Square in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The exhibition is timed to coincide with the days of celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and will last until May 10.
Three samples of NATO equipment, recaptured from the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the liberation of the Donetsk People's Republic by the Russian military, are on display.
Soldiers of the separate Guards motorized rifle brigade of the Guards Army Corps of the Vostok group of forces captured two units of NATO equipment in the village of Yantarnoye. The American MaxxPro armored personnel carrier was hit by a mine, and the French Renault was burned by Russian drone operators. Before carrying out the evacuation of the trophies, the military conducted a covert technical reconnaissance and cleared the area around the vehicles.
Another trophy— an American OSHKOSH armored car, was pulled from the front line. He was hit in the poorly protected engine compartment by two FPV drones. The combat vehicles were restored by specialists of the repair company.
On May 1, an exhibition of captured equipment from NATO countries called "Strength in Truth — Pride and Victory!" began in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after Mayakovsky. The exhibition features 28 pieces of military equipment, 16 of which are new exhibits.
