The State Duma recalled the indexation of military pensions in October

Russian military pensioners will receive a 4.5% pension increase in October. Svetlana Bassarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Social Policy, recalled this on May 8.

"Starting from October 1, it is planned to increase military pensions by 4.5%," Bessarab said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to her, the indexation will affect all pensioners of law enforcement agencies.

In addition, the deputy added, they can continue to work and postpone receiving a pension, for example, for five years. In the second case, the pension will be increased to 40%.
