Temporary restrictions on the reception and departure of flights were introduced at the Samara Kurumoch airport. This was announced on May 7 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"The air harbor temporarily does not accept or send flights. The crews of the armed forces, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety — this is a priority," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the restrictions were introduced at 21:30 Moscow time.

On May 7, during the day, temporary restrictions affected the operation of several airports at once: in particular, measures were introduced in Kaluga, Ivanovo and Yaroslavl, as well as at the capital's Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports.
