Air defense systems repelled an attempt by five more UAVs to attack Moscow
The air defense forces repelled an attempt by five more Ukrainian drones to approach Moscow. The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, wrote about this on May 7 in his Telegram channel.
"Thanks to the work of the Defense Ministry's air defense, five more enemy UAVs were shot down on the approach to Moscow. Emergency services are working at the scene," the mayor said.
Shortly before that, Sobyanin spoke about the destruction of two Ukrainian drones.
On the same day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue to demonstrate their propensity for terrorist actions by sending drones (UAVs) to Moscow during daylight hours. The Russian military is taking all necessary measures to create a calm atmosphere at the Victory Day celebrations in the capital.
