The condition of two victims of the fire at the Yakutugol factory in Neryungri, Yakutia, was assessed by doctors as extremely serious, and two more were seriously ill. The Ministry of Health of the Republic informed about this on May 7.

"Currently, the condition of two victims is assessed as extremely serious, the condition of two is serious. All necessary medical assistance is being provided to the victims," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the victims were hospitalized in the burn department of the Republican Hospital No.2. The situation is under the control of the Ministry of Health of Yakutia.

A fire at a processing plant in Neryungri occurred earlier that day. The city prosecutor's office organized an inspection. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in Yakutia reported that 58 specialists and 15 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

Subsequently, it was reported that a criminal case had been initiated in accordance with Part 1 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities, which negligently caused serious harm to human health").
