"Every year from May to the end of August, hot water is turned off for preventive maintenance. The hot water shutdown schedule is drawn up and published before the start of the planned shutdown season," said Petr Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

The maximum period for turning off hot water in the capital is ten days.
