In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, Argumenty I Fakty publishing house launched the Invincible series of programs as part of the large educational and educational project "We Won!". In a series of interviews, heroes and children of war talk about the difficult path from the first shot to the main Victory. About attempts to survive in concentration camps and on duty on roofs in besieged Leningrad. About the most secret and reverent, which is difficult to talk about.

"With guys who find themselves shoulder to shoulder on the battlefield, you become closer than a relative. Before the attack, the soldiers gathered in a group, prayed to God, crossed themselves, and as soon as the command was given, they went into battle shouting "hurrah!“ My fellow soldiers and I met a lot, and it was our tradition to celebrate Victory Day together. So we're still calling each other — there are only two of them left," says veteran Peter Timofeevich Solomatin, who turned 102 this year.

In interviews, veterans recall with deep feeling those harsh days of the war. But as one they say that it was impossible to defeat us. Today they come to schools and tell their stories.: They want the current generation to know the truth about the war. They are living witnesses of our country's heroic past. Their memories are an invaluable contribution to preserving the memory of the great feat.

The program cycle of all interviews can be viewed in the "We won!" project on the website aif.ru , in the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, the Telegram channel AiF.
