The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a case after the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Rylsk in the Kursk region

A criminal case has been opened after a rocket attack by Ukrainian militants on the city of Rylsk in the Kursk region, during which two teenagers were injured. This was reported on May 7 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

"The Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a", "b", part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act")," the Telegram channel of the department said.

According to the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Svetlana Petrenko, during an inspection of the emergency site, military investigators found fragments of missiles, previously from the Czech Vampire multiple launch rocket system.

There is damage to residential buildings during the attack. Two minors who were on the street at the time were also injured. The injured 17-year-old told investigators about the circumstances of the crime. Those involved are being identified.

On May 6, Acting Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein reported that two teenagers were injured as a result of a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at an electrical substation in the city of Rylsk, Kursk region. A 14-year-old girl received a tangent shrapnel wound to her left shin, and a 17—year-old boy received a shrapnel wound to his right shin. They received medical assistance.
