Ukraine is not interested in a truce in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by State Duma deputy Alexei Chepa on Wednesday, May 7.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky says he needs at least 30-90 days. But all this is being done in order to disrupt the preparation of a peace agreement and create favorable conditions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: to mobilize, rearm, and build new fortifications. I do not believe in Zelensky's desire to end <this conflict>," Chepa stressed in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

He admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would attempt to disrupt the Victory Day parade and sabotage the declared truce.

"We saw a drone attack last night. We see how they are trying to disrupt the parade. It is clear that all this is not aimed at resolving the conflict," the politician concluded.

That night, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the destruction of seven drones by air defense forces that were flying towards the capital, RT reports. Later, he announced the elimination of two more drones flying towards Moscow.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov recommended contacting Kiev on May 7 to find out the purpose of the attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Moscow. 360.ru .

On the evening of May 6, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that during the evening, air defense systems destroyed 57 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over six Russian regions. It was clarified that 31 drones were eliminated over the Bryansk region, another 14 drones were shot down in the sky over the territory of the Kursk region, and seven over the Orel region. Two drones were destroyed over the Kaluga and Ryazan regions, and one more over the Crimea.
