Peskov redirected to Kiev the question of the purpose of the night attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Moscow

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday, May 7, recommended contacting Kiev to find out the purpose of the drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Moscow.

"Call Kiev, please, ask," he replied to a corresponding question from journalists.

That night, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the destruction by air defense forces of seven drones that were flying towards the capital. Later, he announced the elimination of two more drones flying towards Moscow.

On the evening of May 6, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that during the evening, air defense systems destroyed 57 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over six Russian regions. It was clarified that 31 drones were eliminated over the Bryansk region, another 14 drones were shot down in the sky over the territory of the Kursk region, and seven over the Orel region. Two drones were destroyed over the Kaluga and Ryazan regions, and one more over the Crimea.
