A comprehensive program for the improvement of house territories will be developed in the Crimea. The document will be formed by June 1, said the head of the republic Sergey Aksyonov in his social networks on Wednesday, May 7.

Earlier, Aksyonov held a series of field meetings in municipalities and identified pain points. This is the lack of lighting, grading of roads, sidewalks and landscaping.

"An important element of improving the quality of life of Crimeans is the repair of roads and sidewalks. For efficiency, the work will be carried out immediately within a separate settlement," said the head of Crimea, quoted by IA SevastopolMedia.

At the moment, Feodosia, Kerch and Yevpatoria are priorities. The next in line are Yalta, Alushta, Armyansk, Saki, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoy and other small towns.

According to Aksyonov, crushed stone for road repairs will be brought from the Zaporizhia region. He suggested that the material can also be used for backfilling during grading, which will have a positive effect on the durability of the coating.

The program is designed for three years, and the necessary funds will be accumulated for its tasks.

Earlier it was reported that in Crimea, specially protected natural areas began to be prepared for the holiday season. There are 194 protected areas in the republic with a total area of 96.6 thousand hectares.
