Pashinyan confirms plan to come to Moscow on May 9th


Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that he will attend the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). The politician announced this in the country's parliament on May 7.
"Pashinyan stated in the National Assembly that he would go to Moscow to participate in the Victory Day parade," Pashinyan said, as quoted by the Armenian portal news.am .
It is reported that the agreement on Pashinyan's visit to Moscow was reached as a result of his telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Earlier, on May 7, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh arrived in Moscow to take part in celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. At the airport, the Mongolian leader was met by a Russian delegation, and an honor guard was lined up at the ramp.
