Finnish Air Force fighter jet crashed in Lapland region


The fighter jet, which belonged to the Finnish Air Force, crashed in Lapland. This was reported on May 7 by the Reuters news agency, citing the Finnish Air Force.
"The F/A-18 Hornet fighter crashed to the ground near Rovaniemi airport," the publication says.

On the same day, CNN reported on the fall of another F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter from the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman into the Red Sea. It was noted that the causes of the crash have not yet been determined. The pilot managed to eject, but received minor injuries.
