The IDF announced the elimination of the head of the Western Hamas Brigade in Lebanon.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked the Sidon area in Lebanon, as a result of which the head of the Western Hamas Brigade, Khalid Ahmad, was eliminated. This was announced on May 7 by the Telegram channel of the Israeli army.

"Throughout the war, Khalid Ahmad carried out numerous terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces," the publication says.

It is reported that Ahmad has recently been "involved in arms smuggling and carried out terrorist attacks against the State of Israel."

The Israel Defense Forces will continue to act against the "Hamas terrorists" wherever they operate, the statement said.
