The Kiev authorities are trying to disrupt the celebration of Victory Day in Russia. This was announced on May 7 by the head of the Crimean Parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov.

According to him, the Ukrainian attacks on the regions of the Russian Federation are not random incidents. They are part of a broader strategy aimed at disrupting the Victory anniversary celebrations and creating an atmosphere of fear and chaos.

"The armed forces of Ukraine are operating at a short distance, realizing that the hope for a speedy peace, for forced concessions from the Russian Federation, has collapsed," Konstantinov told RIA Novosti.

On the same day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that the air defense forces had destroyed seven unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that were flying towards the capital. Later it became known about the elimination of two more drones.

In addition, the Governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, said that air defense systems in four municipalities of the region destroyed at least seven UAVs. Also, on the approach to Yaroslavl, they repelled an attack by three drones.
