At the World Selects Invitational tournament in Italy, the Dynamo team members managed to prove themselves at their best, and the game itself brought incredible emotions to the young hockey players. This was announced to Izvestia on May 7 by striker Bogdan Gusev.

"In the semifinal round, the emotions, of course, were completely overwhelming, I think that we showed our best, met our expectations and, in principle, performed well," he said.

Gusev noted the good performance of the opponents and expressed the hope that similar tournaments will take place more than once in the future.

Clubs from Chelyabinsk and Yaroslavl defeated Dynamo and Salavat Yulaev in the semifinals of the KHL playoffs

From April 28 to May 4, Dynamo, Avangard and the Golden Ring national team, made up of pupils from schools in Moscow and the Moscow region, played at a tournament for children under 13 in the Italian city of Bolzano. This is the first major competition for children's teams in the years of international suspensions, in which athletes from Russia took part. Their rivals were children from North America, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Russian hockey players took all three first places. They performed under the Russian flag, and the national anthem of the Russian Federation was played before the games.
