Preventive maintenance was carried out at the Eternal Flame in the Alexander Garden

Employees of Mosgaz carried out preventive maintenance on the Eternal Flame in the Alexander Garden, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

"Prevention before Victory Day is a solemn ritual in which the best employees of the gas industry participate," he said.

During the work, the Eternal Flame is transferred to a temporary burner using a special torch. Thus, the flame remains unquenchable.

Mosgaz employees check the burner daily and perform maintenance once a month. The capital's specialists also take care of, for example, the Eternal Flame in Donetsk.
