The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out 66 strikes on settlements in the border areas of the Bryansk region over the past day. This was announced on May 7 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"Operational and emergency services and damage assessment commissions are working on the ground," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz urged the residents of the region to observe the necessary security measures.
