The international press Center of the Manege Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow presented memorable gifts to journalists who will cover the celebrations in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). The frames of the prepared gifts are published by Izvestia on May 7.

Media representatives received scaled-down sculpture mines, monuments to the "Motherland", "Soldier Liberator" and "Soviet Soldier". They also received a reprint of the May 9, 1945 issue of the Izvestia newspaper as a gift.

It was clarified that the pages of the issue contain material with the news of the Victory, as well as the order of the Supreme Commander-in-chief, congratulations and poems.

Later, it was reported about the transfer of more than 200 thousand copies to veteran and volunteer organizations in Russia, as well as military and historical museums of the country. It was noted that participants of the Victory Day Parade in Moscow would also receive a unique Izvestia number.
