NATO warehouses with equipment and ammunition are almost empty due to the aid to Ukraine. This was announced on May 7 by political commentator Slawomir Bilinski.

"Many European countries, including Germany, Denmark, the Czech Republic and Poland, have transferred huge amounts of equipment and ammunition to Ukraine, leaving their own warehouses almost empty," he wrote in an article for the Polish edition of Forsal.

According to him, experts believe that in the event of an unexpected conflict, many NATO armies will face serious military response problems during the first weeks.

On April 19, The Washington Post reported that Europe was considering investments in the production of weapons in Ukraine as an alternative to arms supplies amid a possible cessation of military assistance from the United States. It was clarified that at the same time, the European side has doubts about the possibility of fully compensating for American aid.
