Over the past few years, the National Media Group (NMG) has increased sales to China fivefold, in particular, the holding has successfully cooperated with the Chinese company Beijing Joy Culture Media Co. Ltd. since 2018, distributing its animation "Three Cats" and "Tsarevna" in China. This was reported by the NMG press service.

It is noted that the projects are available on various major platforms in China (Tencent, Youku, Puxin, Hisense), they have their accounts on popular social networks such as Douyin and Weibo.

The projects were also shown on national channels and adapted for Chinese audiences — they were translated into various dialects, including Cantonese, Taiwanese and Hokkien. Various products under the Three Cats project were also released, including books, games, toys, clothing, and FMCG (consumer goods. — Ed.).

In addition, a new 5th season of "Three Cats" is being discussed, which is scheduled to premiere in China in early autumn. A game show series in the "Three Cats" format for Hebei TV is also being discussed, and the project itself has become recognizable in the country and has already become popular with Chinese viewers. The number of views has exceeded 2.5 billion.

At the same time, NMG is in the process of approving permits for the launch of broadcasting of the holding's channels in the networks of cable, IP and satellite TV operators in China.

Andrei Volgin's joint Russian-Chinese film "Red Silk" will be released in China in September. As Svetlana Balanova, Director General of NMG, noted, the film opens a new page in the history of cooperation between the two countries in the field of cinema.
