Peskov responded to reports about Kiev's idea to create a demilitarized zone

Moscow has not yet heard about Kiev's desire or initiatives to establish a demilitarized zone along the line of contact. This was announced on May 7 by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.
"There has not been a single statement from Kiev in this regard," he told TASS in response to a question about Russia's readiness to consider this initiative.
Keith Kellogg, the special envoy of the American leader Donald Trump, said on May 6 that the Kiev authorities want to suspend hostilities along the current lines of contact and are ready to establish a 30-kilometer demilitarized zone on the border with the Russian Federation.
