Matvienko spoke about the radical restructuring of the system of international relations

A radical restructuring of the system of international relations is now underway, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko said in an interview with Izvestia.

During the celebrations, Moscow will become the diplomatic capital.

"From bipolar it is becoming multipolar, more fair, taking into account the interests, including the interests of the countries of the Global South, which for many years were under Western occupation, it cannot be called otherwise. And now their identity is returning, their self-consciousness is growing," said Valentina Matvienko.

According to the Speaker of the Council of Federation, the process of the emergence of new centers of economic, political and military power and the formation of international organizations is gaining momentum. Russia not only welcomes it, but is also a kind of conductor of this movement, Valentina Matvienko added.
