In the European Parliament told about the harm of refusal from Russian gas

The ban on Russian gas imports is unprofitable and irrational for Slovakia and for Europe from an economic point of view, Milan Mazurek, a member of the Sovereign Nations Europe group and MEP for Slovakia, told Izvestia.
"As a member of the European Parliament, I will continue to vote against these senseless anti-Russian initiatives," the MEP told Izvestia.
The politician will pressure the current Slovak government domestically to refrain from supporting sanctions and bans against Russia, not only in statements but also directly during negotiations in Brussels. Slovakia should stand up for its rights and take a clear and firm position in defense of its own interests and against anti-Russian bans, Mazurek believes.
Earlier it became known that the EC intends to ban imports of Russian pipeline gas and LNG under existing contracts from 2027. This was announced by the European Commissioner for energy Dan Jorgensen.
