Western embassies and special services have been working on the ground to disrupt the visit of high-level government officials to Moscow, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko said in an interview with Izvestia.

"We know - we have reliable information - that until recently Western embassies and special services were working on the ground to disrupt the visit of high-level government officials to Moscow," Valentina Matvienko told Izvestia.

In the conditions of such prohibitively brazen, powerful processing of any politician who announced his plans to visit our capital, direct threats, not joking at all, the arrival of each of them at our celebrations is a reflection of their absolutely principled position with regard to historical truth, emphasized the Speaker of the Federation Council.
