At least 20 people were killed in Israeli shelling of a school in the Gaza Strip.

At least 20 people were killed due to the shelling of a school housing displaced persons in the Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip. This was reported on May 6 by the Palestinian TV channel Al Aqsa.
"The death toll has risen to 20 people, including children, and dozens more were injured as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a school where displaced people were staying," the Al Aqsa Telegram channel said.
The channel also called on the UN, human rights and humanitarian organizations to take effective steps aimed at ending the conflict and saving what is "left of life" in the Gaza Strip.
At the same time, the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah announced on May 6 that it intends to continue attacks on its territory in response to Israel's actions until it stops operations in the Gaza Strip. According to the Houthis, they are ready to do anything, as they are dealing with those who are used to committing "war crimes, genocide and attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure."
