The first case of tick-borne borreliosis was registered in the Angara region

The first case of tick-borne borreliosis has been reported in the Irkutsk region. This is reported by IA IrkutskMedia with reference to information from Rospotrebnadzor.
In total, more than 1.2 thousand people have been affected by pest bites since the beginning of the season. The laboratory received 906 ticks for research. 207 pests turned out to be carriers of borreliosis, eight ticks carried encephalitis.
The early appearance of ticks was facilitated by abnormally warm weather in winter.
In the Amur region, 186 people suffered from tick bites over the past week.
