The media called the time of the first meeting of the new German government

The new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will hold his first cabinet meeting on Tuesday evening. This was reported on May 6 by the Bild newspaper with reference to the federal chancellery.
"Despite the delay in the election of the chancellor, the first cabinet meeting under the leadership of Chancellor Friedrich Merz is scheduled to take place this evening. According to the federal Chancellery, the constituent assembly was scheduled for 22:00 (at 23:00 Moscow time. — Ed.)," the publication says.
It is specified that the meeting was originally supposed to take place at 18:00 (19:00 Moscow time), but the time was changed without specifying the reasons.
On May 6, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier appointed Merz as the new Chancellor of Germany. In the first round of voting, Merz failed to gain enough votes to be elected head of state. He was appointed the new chancellor only for the second time.
