Moscow continues to reconstruct the infrastructure of Donetsk and Lugansk.

The city authorities, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, are helping to restore the engineering, communal and social infrastructure of Lugansk, as well as Donetsk. In 2025, it is planned to reconstruct another 191 buildings.

"Together with our twin cities Donetsk and Lugansk, we continue the program of infrastructure support, development, and reconstruction. More than two thousand facilities have been reconstructed, more than a thousand kilometers of utility networks have been restored, millions of square meters of roads have been restored," Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 5.

In addition, attention is paid to the improvement of public spaces, namely parks, roads, streets.

Moscow also plans to restore almost 652,000 square meters of roads and 21 hectares of public spaces in Donetsk and Lugansk. In addition, the polyclinic at Kalinin Hospital (building No. 10), the largest medical institution in the republic, will be overhauled in Donetsk.
