A motorist without a license killed a pensioner in Primorye

A pensioner died after being hit by a car in Primorsky Krai. The motorist did not have a driver's license.

The accident occurred on the territory of the village of Fokino. According to the PrimaMedia news agency, a 25-year-old woman driving a Mazda Demio was driving down Usatyi Street and hit an 85-year-old woman. It was established that the pensioner suddenly stepped onto the road outside the pedestrian crossing area.

The victim died from her injuries within a day. An investigation is underway into the incident.

Over the past day, 254 road accidents were registered on the roads of Russia, in which 33 people were killed and 284 injured. As a result of 73 accidents, 34 of which occurred at pedestrian crossings and 39 outside their area of operation, four pedestrians were killed, and 72 more were injured in various degrees of severity.
