The military personnel of the Center group of forces liberated the strategically important village of Lysovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), which was a powerful fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). On May 6, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of the combat work of the Russian military.

"Military personnel of the 137th Motorized Rifle brigade of the Center group of forces have successfully completed the operation to liberate the Lysovka settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic," the ministry said in a statement.
