Heating has started to turn off in Moscow. This was announced on Tuesday, May 6, by the Deputy mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, Peter Biryukov.
According to him, the specialists of the urban economy complex, in connection with the establishment of the necessary air temperatures, began a smooth transition of the capital's heat supply system to summer operation, the Moscow city news agency reports. In total, they will shut down more than 74 thousand buildings, including 34 thousand residential buildings, NSN said.
Biryukov noted that the heating shutdown is carried out in stages in the following sequence: industrial, administrative, residential buildings, schools, preschool and medical institutions, notes Life.ru .
Preparations for the new heating season have already begun in the city. In particular, one of its most important areas is the hydraulic testing of heating systems, which will start in full in May, writes RIAMO. During the summer maintenance work on heat supply systems, specialists rearrange pipelines, carry out preventive and major repairs of heating stations and central heating points, maintain and repair indoor heating and hot water supply systems, the website writes kp.ru .
Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin instructed to prepare for the heating season in Moscow by September 1. It is expected that the city services will prepare 13 thermal power plants, 38 district thermal power plants, 42 quarterly thermal power plants and 97 small boiler houses for the new season, Moscow 24 reports.
On April 22, it was reported that heating shutdown criteria may appear in Russia, taking into account weather forecasts.
