According to him, car dealers provoke accidents in order to receive CTP compensation. Abdulmalikov added that they often use luxury, armored or right-hand drive cars to increase the payout.
"After receiving the payment and the minimum budget repairs, they will organize a new accident. Fraudsters are actively applying to the courts to receive payments in excess of the limit stipulated by CTP from allegedly guilty legal entities — owners of the victim's car," he concluded.
On the eve of the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk reported that in Moscow, police officers detained eight suspects who staged an accident on the roads of the capital for the sake of car insurance, the Moscow city news agency reports.
