Bloomberg revealed details of a new package of EU anti-Russian sanctions

The European Union (EU) intends to propose new anti-Russian sanctions that will apply to 60 individuals and legal entities and include restrictions on about 150 vessels. This was reported on May 6 by Bloomberg, citing sources.
"The sanctions proposed by the European Commission will apply to 60 individuals and legal entities, and will also include restrictions on about 150 vessels. Thus, the total number of listed vessels will exceed 300," the material says.
In addition, the foreign ministers officially intend to consider the measures before the meeting in Brussels scheduled for May 20. They may become the 17th package of sanctions since the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict.
On May 2, Reuters reported on Western doubts about US President Donald Trump's approval of new sanctions against Russia. It was emphasized that the restrictions would apply, among other things, to the Russian Gazprom corporation, as well as "large enterprises involved in natural resources and the banking sector."
