Soldiers of the Korean People's Army will not be represented at the Victory Day Parade in Moscow. This was announced to journalists on May 6 by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

"Parade squads from 13 countries will take place on Red Square. I will also name these countries. Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Belarus, Egypt, Kazakhstan, the People's Republic of China, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan," he said.

Ushakov stressed that this is a complete list of countries participating in the parade, and North Korean soldiers will not be among them.

A delegation from the DPRK arrived in Vladivostok on May 2 and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame of the memorial "Military Glory of the Pacific Fleet" in Vladivostok. The event was attended by representatives of the Mangyongde Palace of Schoolchildren and Pioneers.

On April 29, the head of the press center of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, Faridun Mahmadalizoda, announced that about 100 servicemen of the republic would take part in the May 9 parade. The republic's armed forces will be represented by an amphibious assault brigade of mobile troops.
