Traffic police listed the streets planned to be closed on May 7 in Moscow


On May 7, traffic will be restricted on more than 50 streets in Moscow in connection with preparations for the parade. The Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate listed them in its Telegram channel on May 6.
So, from 05:30 hours until the end of the events, traffic will be restricted along Zemlyanoy Val, Marxistskaya, Sadovaya-Spasskaya, Sadovaya-Karetnaya, Bolshaya Sadovaya and Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya streets, along Volgogradsky Prospekt (from Lyublinskaya to Abelmanovskaya Street), Taganskaya Square, Garden Ring (from Bolshaya Spasskaya Street to the Gravity flyover), Mayakovsky tunnel, along Tverskaya, 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya, Okhotny Ryad, Bolshaya Nikitskaya, Bolotnaya, Sadovnicheskaya, Solyanka and Petrovka streets, along Moskvoretskaya, Kremlevskaya, Goncharnaya, Kotelnicheskaya and others embankments.
From 10:00 a.m. until the end of the events, restrictions will be imposed on Tverskaya and Strastnoy Boulevards (from Tverskaya Street to Naryshkin Passage), in Bolshoy Putinkovsky Lane (from Malaya Dmitrovka Street to Tverskaya Street), along Vozdvizhenka, Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya, Bolshaya Sadovaya, Sadovaya-Triumfalnaya, Sadovaya-Karetnaya, Sadovaya-Spasskaya Streets, Sadovaya-Chernogryazskaya, Marxist, Bolshaya Polyanka, Novy Arbat, Zemlyanoy Val and others.
"The Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate appeals to all drivers with a convincing request to be extremely careful, to choose alternative routes in advance, to strictly follow the instructions of road signs, requirements and instructions of employees of the highway patrol service," the department noted.
The Metropolitan Department of Transport also warned that parking will be prohibited in some areas of temporary restrictions and underground pedestrian crossings will be closed.
The country's main Victory anniversary parade will traditionally take place on Red Square in Moscow. It will be attended by a number of foreign leaders, including Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Brazilian President Lula da Silva.
