The fascists did not touch the women in the village, but they behaved like a master. And when they had to retreat in a hurry, they stripped people to the skin. Of all the animals, they left only one cow with the great—grandmother - she was without a tail, and the Germans were afraid that the cow was sick. And the fact is that even before the Nazis came, Anna Savelyevna, due to the lack of ropes, tied cows with tails so that they would not run away. Once there was a lot of noise in the village because of the fighting, the bound cows jerked and ran in different directions. Unfortunately, one of them lost its tail. It's a terrible story, but this incident saved the whole village from starvation. For several years, the cow fed both the great-grandmother's family and all the neighbors around.

Nikolai Leibov, the host of the reality show "Find by ID," has never seen his grandfather, but he knows that Yakov Davidovich Leibov was drafted into service at the age of 20.

Vladimir Sorkov, the host of the reality show "Hunters", urged never to forget the feat of the defenders of the Motherland, and told the fateful story of his grandfather, Alexander Vasilyevich Minakov.
