- The Baltic states began to prepare a memorandum on the evacuation of the population together with Poland.

Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia have started preparing a joint memorandum with Poland on coordinating actions during the evacuation of the population. This was reported on May 6 by the Delfi portal with reference to the Lithuanian Interior Ministry.
"The main purpose of the memorandum is to strengthen regional cooperation in the evacuation of the population within the country and in conducting cross—border evacuations," the ministry's statement reads.
It is specified that the states that signed the memorandum will coordinate their actions and work out the joint use of transport and other infrastructure.
In addition, the countries will determine possible evacuation routes and border crossing points, adds "Газета.Ru ".
A day earlier, The Telegraph newspaper reported that the UK, by decision of Prime Minister Keir Starmer, updated the war plan, which has been guided since 2005. The instructions have been supplemented with new points regarding a possible conflict with Russia.
