Brabus has built an extreme SUV based on the Volkswagen

The German Brabus tuning studio presented a project based on the current Mercedes-AMG G 63 SUV. The all-terrain vehicle was named the Brabus XL 800 and is positioned as an off-road supercar, the company's press service reported on May 6.
Among the main features of the Brabus XL 800 is a completely redesigned and reinforced suspension with gantry axles and adjustable struts. The ground clearance of such a "Hyundai" has grown to 47 centimeters. To facilitate boarding and disembarking, there are sliding footrests and special hinges that allow the rear doors to be opened by 90°.
The 4.0-liter V8 engine has been modified and now develops 800 hp (1000 Nm). Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 210 km/h due to off-road tires. Additionally, a custom exhaust system with an adjustment valve is installed.
The Brabus XL 800 also features a Widestar body kit with carbon fiber elements, 22-inch wheels, a winch, a spoiler and additional lighting equipment. The interior trim is made of grey leather. The price of the all-terrain vehicle and the planned print run are not specified.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Chinese car brands Lepas and iCar are planning to officially launch on the Russian market. They are part of the Chery Group's portfolio.
